It Will Dry
Another favorite of ours: "It will dry." One day at Nana Noma's Avery dropped some water on the sidewalk in front of her house. Dutifully she went to get a towel to clean it up, but Nana Noma stopped her and told her that it was okay, it would dry. Now apply that phrase to everything -- a peeing experiment on the living room floor, water all over the bathroom*, and recently non-liquid events like dropping books on the floor or smashing her knee on a chair. "It will dry" she says as she brushes it off and goes on her merry way.
*In both of those scenarios we had to review lessons about inside activities, outside activities, and only peeing in the potty. She was very sincere about the peeing incident, we couldn't help but turn our heads and laugh.
Clarification of previous post -- "Chopped Lizard" was Avery's interpretation of "Chopped Liver"
