A Day In The City

The weather dudes were WRONG! We were told to expect rain for the next couple of weeks, and with the exception of a big wind & rain storm on Wednesday night, the last few days have been gorgeous. A little cloudy off and on, but sunny & bright with a rainbow of leaves glimmering in the sun.

After getting settled in yesterday, today we ventured out to the big city: Portland. First we picnicked in Washington Park, then played on the play structure and in some leaves. Next we headed over to the Children's Museum for some inside fun (it was still a little chilly to spend too much time outside). We were pushing the envelope on nap times, but hey, it's vacation, right. We had a lot of fun, but a troop of sobbing kids in the car on the ride home.

Jordan is going to score some serious snuggle time with nana Noma during this visit, while Julie & Jack, Astrid & Matt, and Avery & I get to play!
