A Great Performance

Jordan's been having a crappy day today. She's fussy, whiny, gassy, screaming a lot, and having quite a few seizures. It just so happened that today was also her 2-month check up with her pediatric neurologist, and she performed right on cue. We were in the office with him for ~30 minutes, and during that time she did a whole range of strange movements, some of which he confirmed were seizures (myoclonic "jack-knives"), others of which were not [asymetric tonic neck reflex (ATNR) when she's angry or upset].

It's so frustrating to take her to a doctor and try to explain the odd things she does, so it's really a treat when she "performs." When she's sick or not feeling well she tends to have more seizures, so it was a "lucky" break for us.

Just like "normal" lab results are a bummer at this point, having seizures for the neuro is great!

Funny world we're living in these days. . . .
