Every-so-often Christy & her hubby Jeff make it out west, usually to the Portland area, and this was one of those weekends. That called for a get together at Jess & James' beautiful home in Canby. We all had a chance to swim for awhile, even Jordan who soaked in the kiddie pool with mommy & the big girls, while the boys entertained Avery & Isabella in the big pool. Then it was back to the house for Coug burgers (cheeseburgers with ham). While the burgers were cooking, Avery & Bella laid waste to most of the watermelon, seeds and all (but boy was it good watermelon). Jess made an incredible berry cobbler with specialty local berries (Marion berries, Hood strawberries, and Gresham blackberries), and even though we were all stuffed from lunch, no one could resist. Lynnette even got a candle in hers for her upcoming birthday (Happy 34th Lynnette).
Leslie, Bella, & Avery. It's always fun to go somewhere and find a new friend waiting, especially when you're both 2.
