Rancho Casa Blanca Photos

Yeah, there's a kids area at PDX. Avery played before the plane, while Devon, Jordan, & I got something to eat. Avery's first paid-for airplane seat. She was glad to have her monkey to snuggle with, and was proud to have done up her seatbelt all by herself.
Waiting, waiting, waiting at LAX.
We pulled the girls out of the shuttle van into the lobby of the hotel, and eventually packed them over to our room -- without ever removing them from their carseats. They never woke up for a second, either! Tricky, eh?I have to say that I love palm trees against a blue sky. The weather has been as wonderful as it looks. Our "new home" as Avery has been calling it all week (it's a 'park model'). She is enjoying herself, but is glad to know that we'll be going back to our red home when the vacation is over (and her bedroom, and her playroom, and her swingset, and her kitties, and her nana Noma, etc.). Lots of snuggles all around. Pool time, usually a couple times a day.

Merry Christmas in the desert.
Our own grapefruit tree in the back yard.
