PRIDE

The PRIDE evaluation today was nice. PT, ST, 2 teachers, and the county liaison were all there (D, J, & me, too) to learn all about Jordan & figure out how best to help her. They are all very seasoned professionals, and were very in tune with Jordan & her feelings, responses, abilities, and medical issues. We'll be starting with weekly PT, sometimes at the center & sometimes at home (so daddy can participate more easily). There's also a baby group that meets weekly with the teachers and PTs, open to anyone in the program (ages 0-3 years). It sounds great, but the 9:00am timeslot seems a bit overwhelming right now. We'll do our best to get there.

I'm excited to be involved wit this caring group of people. It will be a very welcome addition to our week, and thankfully will not be medically driven (for once).
