For any of you wondering why we call it the duck barn, this is why:Finally, its all cleaned out, except for a few things to be sold on Craig's List, sorting out the mountain of tools, finding a place for all of the now-empty tote boxes, and of course, an afternoon of quality time with my labeler.
GOING! GOING! GONE!!! Almost all of this came out of the duck barn. Devon drove it first to Value Village (they support Jordan's Early Intervention program, PRIDE), and anything they didn't want went right to the dump! Can you believe we still have this? A box full of stinky, used hockey gear that we haven't touched in 7 years. We pulled out our skates and lifted the whole box straight into the truck. Good riddance! Jordan hung out with us on Friday night as we put the duck barn all back together. Avery had a sleep over at nana Noma's, and Devon & I got a LOT done.
Hey, there's the lawn. We hadn't seen it in a week, and it was a hot week for it not to be getting watered. Luckily it seems to have mostly survived, and this week is cooler & sadly, a little rainy. Good for the lawn, not so great for playing outside.
Finally, space to hide the garbage and recycling behind the fence. And now that all the junk is gone, the handle has been installed to keep the door from swinging. Its nice and easy to open from both sides, Avery can do it herself without even trying.

WOW! Looks great. I envy all of your organizing. Jack is away so I reorganized his closet tonight. Can you believe that he had shirts and pants in the same pile? I now know he has way too many tshirts and pairs of work pants. And how many pairs of khakis does one guy need?
