Avery & Devon after dinner last night. Avery actually asked for me to take a picture of them -- she's usually trying to hide from the camera! 
Foam bath soap? How much more fun can bath time get?
She calls this 'ice cream sundae' head
For along time Avery insisted on wearing her shoes on the wrong feet. She's mostly past that now, but has traded it in for wearing her pants & shorts backwards ("tag in the front"), and, no matter how hot it is, only wearing rain boots ("These Boots Were Made For Walking" Nancy Sinatra look when wearing shorts or a skirt because of the heat). We went to Home Depot and Target to do errands, and one lady just couldn't quit giggling at Avery & her backwards pants & rain boots (it was 80'F that day!).
Flowers in bloom: Rhodadendrons (ours seem to bloom about a month later than everyone else's). 
and finally the rose in the front of our house

Ah, Avery and jack have the same sense of style. We went grocery shopping today, Jack insisted on wearing:
striped tshirt
camo sweat pants
extratough rain boots
bike helmet
Luckily I was able to convince him to take off the helmet before entering the store. Other than that he looked like a regular Alaskan kid.
I wonder if in 10 years you'll be saying ... yeah that whole wearing her shoes on the wrong feet/pants backwards really was a sign of things to come ... if only we knew! Very cute though - dare to be different.
