Winter Wonderland

Monsoon season is here! To the north and in the mountains that means snow*, but here in Vancouver, Washington & Portland, Oregon, and everywhere west, that means rain, rain, rain! Flooding is rampant, and even parts of I-5 & Amtrak to Seattle are closed. It's days like these I'm glad we live on a hill. . . .

But on Saturday morning, when it was a little cooler, we had a dab of snow ourselves. We went to the mountains a bit later, and I had fun taking some shots of the winter wonderland of snow.

Snow on the van in our driveway, early Saturday morning. Along I-84 in the Columbia Gorge
